在近几年刺参(Apostichopus japnicus Selenka)育苗研究中,我们观察到:每年六月底以后,随着水温的升高,一些稚参培育池中,猛蚤(Microsettela sp.)大量繁生,使稚参大批死亡,有时在二、三天内全部复灭。猛蚤危害之烈,引起我们的关注。过去许多单位,曾在刺参育苗池中发现有猛蚤繁生。河北省水产研究所、辽宁省海洋水产研究所,曾提出用敌百虫杀灭猛蚤,但未见详细报导。本文就猛蚤的危害和防治方法进行了初步观察。试验用猛蚤标本为一种。
