半峪村在村支部书记胡万奎的带领下,2004年该村工农业总产值达到6500万元,上交利税1100万元,人均收入3100元。该村投资45万元修建学校围墙、添置校园娱乐设施、硬化校园操场;投资200余万元兴建煤矿调度楼、培训中心以及办公楼;投资10余万元新建水浇地40余亩。经村民代表大会和支部大会讨论通过,由该村煤矿给村民每人分红2000元。村民们的生活有了明显改善,半峪村的面貌焕然一新。
