【Objective】 To compare the difference of response inhibition between high-performance autistic children and normal children. 【Method】 The behavioral tests of 26 children with autism spectrum dysfunction and 20 control subjects were performed using the Go / no-go task and Stroop task respectively. Multivariate analysis of variance (ANOVA) conduct statistical analysis. 【Results】 The children with high-performance autism had higher false-press number and average response time in the no-go task than those in the control group (P <0.05). In the Stroop task, the number of mistakes and the average response time difference No statistical significance (P> 0.05). After controlling for IQ, the differences in mean response time between the two groups in no-go tasks remained statistically significant (P <0.05). 【Conclusion】 Some children with high-functioning autism have partial inhibitory function defects.
