On April 10, 2014, some universities and colleges jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the Guangming Daily held the “Forum on Cultivating and Promoting the Socialist Core Values.” Guangming Daily and experts and scholars from Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Beijing Normal University, China University of Political Science and Law, Fudan University, Wuhan University, and Sun Yat-sen University conducted an in-depth analysis on the relevant topics from the theoretical and practical aspects communicate with. Professor Li Deshun, a tenured professor in our school, and editor-in-chief of the journal, attended the meeting and made speeches. Li Weihong, vice minister of education, pointed out that since the 18th CPC National Congress, the party Central Committee with Xi Jinping as general secretary has attached great importance to cultivating and promoting the core values of socialism and has made a series of important arrangements. The education system is an important front for nurturing and promoting the core values of socialism. The philosophy society in colleges and universities
