在地球上的生物世界里,表现生命现象的基本结构和功能单位,我们称之为细胞。而音乐,是一种流动的、有规律的声音组织,无论它流向哪里:地球的每一个角落、太空、人们的精神世界或生理循环、动物的听觉感受器等等,音乐都将显示出它的各种功能,表现出它生命的活力。因此,我们把组成音乐有机体的基本元素-乐音比作“细胞”,是十分适当的。
