李铁山东省济南市人。一九三七年在北京师范大学历史系毕业,一九三六年五、六月间在北师大入党,一九三八年入闽。历任中共福州工委、福州市委书记、闽江特委书记、闽中特委特派员、闽江工委委员、组织部长、闽浙赣区党委候补委员、闽浙赣区党委城市工作部副部长,部长等职。一九四八年四月间在城工部事件中被错杀,时年三十七岁。
