党参为一种重要补气药,功能可补脾益气生津止渴。据考证原出山西上党,而根形如参故名党参。查其原植物种类较多,牵涉桔梗科党参属一百余种植物。主要有四种,即素花党参Codonopsis modestaNannf.,党参C.pilosula(Franch.)Nannf.,川党参C.tangshen Oliv.,管花党参C.tubulosa Kom.,药材品种更加繁多,市场上常见者有五类,即西党、条党、潞党、东党、白党,现将主要原植物及药材性状列表分析如下:
