2006年6月9日,陆定一诞辰100周年。在人民大会堂举办的座谈会上,中共中央政治局委员、书记处书记、中宣部部长刘云山说:“陆定一为宣传党的路线、方针、政策,推动中国革命和建设的发展,倾注了全部精力,为党的理论建设和宣传思想工作做出了重要贡献。”刘云山指出,“我们缅怀他的伟大功绩,要学习他对党的事业无限忠诚、对人民无比热爱的坚定信念;学习他坚持真理、实事求是的革命精神;学习他顾全大局,严于律己的高尚品格。”
