中华网-国中网第四届年会是中华网国际网络传讯有限公司(chinadotcom corporation)主办的又一次国际INTERNET业界交流盛会,是迎“千禧”前夕中外INTERNET业界的高层聚会。 国中网第一届年会于1996年10月在北京成功召开。中国政府有关部门以及国际信息与金融界的高层代表聚集一堂,共同探讨Internet在中国的发展问题。会议期间,当时担任国务院副总理的朱镕基在中南海亲切接见了与会的“国际信息和金融代表团”。表明了中国国家领导人对信息产业发展的高度重视,同时更为国中网的继续发展奠定了基础,指明了方向。
The 4th Annual Meeting of China.com.cn - Guozhong.com is another international exchange event hosted by chinadotcom corporation and a high-level gathering for INTERNET in the world on the eve of the “Millennium”. The first annual meeting of China-China Network was successfully held in Beijing in October 1996. Relevant departments of the Chinese government and high-level representatives from the international information and finance community to discuss the development of the Internet in China. During the meeting, Zhu Rongji, then vice premier of the State Council, cordially received the “International Information and Finance Delegation” attending the meeting in Zhongnanhai. This shows that the Chinese leaders attach great importance to the development of the information industry and at the same time lay a solid foundation for the continued development of the State Grid.
