美国美国多数大学招生时要求有入学考试成绩。入学考试成绩主要由两大考试机构——普林斯顿教育考试服务处和阿尔瓦教育考试服务处——提供。考试分学能测验和学业测验两种。学能测验包括语文和数学两科,分五次测试,主要是对考生已有学习能力的测试,了解他们对基本知识掌握的程度,以及基本能力和发展潜力的情况。由于中学教材的不统一和教学水平的参差不齐,大学可以通过达一考试了解考生的基本水平。
Most U.S. universities require admission test scores when enrolling students.
