阅读是人类的一项基本活动,是人们获取知识的最主要、最可靠的方式之一.特别是生活在当今这个被称之为“知识爆炸”的“信息时代”,处处离不开知识,知识又时时需要更新,因此,人们更是离不开阅读.在教学过程中,如何帮助学生认识阅读的重要性,如何指导学生进行课内课外的阅读,是我们每一位教师的重要职责和任务之一.本文拟从英语阅读的作用谈起,对阅读的心理与方法等问题作一个初步的探讨.
