本文在比较了运动估计的各种匹配准则计算复杂度的基础上,提出在DSP上实现极低码率动态图象编解码标准H.263时,选择均方误差(MSE)做为匹配准则的半象素精度运动估计的方法。由于在半象素精度运动估计时,相邻半象素点的均方误差的计算具有重复性,利用这种重复性对均方误差计算方法进行改进,可以在不影响图像质量的同时,提高压缩比。模拟结果显示,改进的方法在DSP实现时更能显示其优越性,在运算时间和存储空间上都有一定的节省。
Based on the comparison of the computational complexity of various matching criteria for motion estimation, this paper proposes that MSE be chosen as the matching criterion when implementing the H.263 H.263 codec Half-pixel precision motion estimation method. Because of the repeatability of the calculation of the mean square error of the adjacent half-pixel points during the motion estimation of the half-pixel precision, the method of calculating the mean square error can be improved by using this repetitiveness, which can improve the mean square error while not affecting the image quality Compression ratio. The simulation results show that the improved method can better show its superiority in DSP implementation, and save some computational time and storage space.
