The main ion content of Atlantic salmon eggs and larvae cultured in different water quality was determined, and their mortality and growth rate were compared. In the 320 μg / l inorganic aluminum solution, larval mortality increased at a pH of 6.0. The uptake of chloride and sodium by late embryos and larvae decreased significantly at pH 5.5. At pH 6.5, there was no effect on ion uptake or efflux of eggs and larvae due to the precipitation of Al (OH) 3. The impact of potassium, calcium, magnesium is not obvious. Addition of seawater does not alleviate the toxicity of aluminum. This article also discusses the mode of action of aluminum on ion regulation.
