我矿处理的矿石系铜硫伴生的矿石。剥离废石中含有少量的铜,自然氧化后生成硫酸铜溶液。我们把其引入人工建造的海绵铜池中,以铁屑置换,生成海绵铜。铁屑剩下不多时洗池和去渣,并把收集的海绵铜(含铜50%)晒干。土法回收海绵铜简单易行,花钱少,盈利多。我矿每年可回收铜金属数十吨。经过不断改进,我矿现有的海绵铜池已经比较完善。每个池的面积400平方米,深600毫米,池的形状宜狭长。采用混凝土隔墙,池的围墙和隔墙顶
