广州的个体私营经济,在十多年的改革、开放中,有了飞跃的发展。各个行业遵循各种经济成份并存发展的政策,对国民经济起到多方面的补充作用,今后的发展趋势将会越来越好。改革、开放之初的1979年,全市个体工商户只有5022户,1990年底已发展到95265户,增加了近18倍。从业人数达151159人,注册资金41164万元。1990年全年工业总产值达46992万元,相当于解放初期全市工业总产值的两倍。商业营业额230515万元。其中零售额177855元,占全市社会商品零售总额的12.67%,1979年以前,广州市没有一家私营企业,至1990年底,广州市的私营企业已有2905户,投资人数5708人,雇工人数
The individual and private economy in Guangzhou has enjoyed rapid development in more than a decade of reform and opening up. All industries follow the policy of coexistence of various economic sectors and play a complementary role in various aspects of the national economy.
