本文通过一个大型信息管理系统的实践,讨论了局部网络上数据库的有关技术问题。分析指出,由于功能上的缺陷,使单用户数据库管理系统和单机多用户数据库管理系统,都不能简单地移植到局部网上使用。较为理想的的方法是采用网上多用户数据库管理系统。文中,对其应具有的功能,进行了扼要的讨论。在此基础上着重讨论了没有网上多用户DBMS的情况下,如何通过在数据库组织、网络组建、编程及其它方面,采取种种技术措施,处理好网上的数据库问题。
This paper discusses the technical problems related to the database on the local network through the practice of a large-scale information management system. Analysis pointed out that due to functional shortcomings, so that single-user database management system and stand-alone multi-user database management system, can not be simply ported to the local network to use. The more ideal method is to use online multi-user database management system. The article, the function that it should have, has carried on the brief discussion. On the basis of this, it focuses on how to deal with the problem of the database online by adopting various technical measures in the database organization, network establishment, programming and other aspects without the online multi-user DBMS.
