现阶段交通事故处于高发期,交通安全形势十分严峻,不断创新和完善交通事故防控机制,为经济社会和谐发展创造良好的交通条件尤显迫切。创新交通事故防控机制,必须顺应构建和谐社会要求,建立以预防交通事故为核心的公共安全体系、社会化道路交通安全目标体系、全社会道路交通安全教育体系、全社会交通事故防范预警体系、依法严管的科学勤务体系和标本兼治的长效管理体系。
