同志们: 即将过去的1998年,是深入贯彻党的十四届六中全会精神,各项事业篷勃发展的一年,是省委、省政府提出“打好徽字牌,唱响黄梅戏,建设文化强省”的口号付诸实践的一年;是我们以“黄梅戏艺术年”为龙头,带动各项文化事业加速发展的一年。从党的十四届六中全会到党的十五大为建设有中国特色社会主义文化事业指明了方向。为文化艺术的发展提供了历史性机遇。抓住机遇,乘势而上,促进我省文化事业的全面繁荣和发展是当前我们工作的基本思想。1997年,我省文化工作取得了六次历史性的突破,今年又在去年工作的基础上提出了新的目标和任务,年初省委、省政府一号文件的核心内容就是要抓好艺术生产、推进文化整体繁荣。今年我们提出以“黄梅戏艺术年”为各项工作的龙头。年初,我们由省剧目工作室主持召开了一年一度的全省戏剧创作工作会议。会上,通报了有关“黄梅戏艺术年”的工
