In an increasingly competitive economy and society, core competitiveness is an important guarantee for enterprises to maintain their long-term competitive advantages. Therefore, building their core competitiveness has become the primary strategic objective and task of an enterprise. This paper introduces the meaning and characteristics of the core competence, discusses ways to improve the core competitiveness of enterprises, and explains the problems that should be noticed when building the core competitiveness of enterprises. This has a far-reaching impact on the survival and development of enterprises.
