笔者利用紫薇具有萌蘖性强、容易造型、容易开花(当年扦插,当年开花)、生长健壮等优点,进行网篱造型,收到了春观紫芽绿叶、夏秋赏花、严冬观赏网篱盆景的效果。总结如下:1.春季或夏季,将笔杆般粗的紫薇细枝,剪成25-30cm长的插穗。每根穗子上部留3个分叉,每种花色的插穗各剪取4-5根。如图1所示。2.将上述剪好的插穗,按图2所示的株距,呈环形平面分布、网篱状空间分布扦插在长方形盆景盆内。(将A叉、B叉向外插,便于新枝舒展,吸收光能及修剪造形)如图2、图3所示。3.将同种花色的穗子插在一起,
