目前采煤工作面已大部采用了SGW-40T刮板输送机,实践证明该设备坚固耐用,性能良好。但在使用中,该机机头护板常因煤块杂物塞住或因刮板链倒转造成护板、分链器支架、分链器、销轴毁坏,甚至使装分链器支架的铁板弯曲断裂,致使无法正常运行,停产检修。改进的方法首先在机头装分链器的铁板处,上槽下面的一个扁孔,用铁板堵死,使煤块不能流入下槽内(如图示)
