OBJECTIVE: Brain injury in preterm infants is an important cause of death and disability in preterm infants and also a research focus in recent years. However, there is still a lack of comprehensive analysis and assessment of the current status of research on brain injury in premature infants. For the first time, this study uses the method of co-word analysis to analyze the literature of domestic journals published in domestic journals for the last ten years in this field, and deeply analyzes the research status and progress of brain damage in premature infants in our country, which lays the foundation for further research. Methods In April 2013, CNKI conducted a literature search on “premature babies” and “brain injury” as the free words, and limited periodicals from January 2003 to December 2012, and retrieved all relevant documents , Excluded the documents that did not fit the purpose of the research, included the documents conforming to the research standards, and then used Excel 2007 to carry out the statistics and analysis of key words. Using Ucinet 6.0 and Netdraw to draw the co-occurrence analysis charts, the co-relationship between keywords was visualized. Results A total of 173 articles were included and 28 high-frequency keywords were extracted. The current research hotspots in this field in China were successfully presented. Through the co-word analysis, the relationship between various high-frequency keywords was revealed. Between the internal relations. Conclusions At present, the research on brain injury in preterm infants in our country focuses on periventricular leukomalacia, intracranial hemorrhage and hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy. There are also many studies on the pathogenesis, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of brain injury in premature infants.
