1 Introduction The reason why anticoagulant rodenticides have successfully replaced acute rodenticides as a primary means of protection against rodents is that it takes days for such rodenticides to work effectively, unlike the former, which only takes minutes or hours . Rodents do not refuse food, without the need of pre-bait. The first-generation anticoagulant rat has a short half-life (usually less than 24 hours) and requires a few days to get a lethal dose, thus reducing the risk of non-target animals. Vitamins (hereinafter referred to as V) K_1 are effective antidotes. Based on this, the first generation of products even if used by non-professionals, but also get a good rodent control effect.
