岳滩大队位于偃师县伊、洛两河汇流处的夹河滩上,是我省著名的小麦高产单位。该大队自1953年以来,一直保持着三、四百斤产量水平,特别是近两年在多种自然灾害条件下,仍然达到四、五百斤的高产稳产。1964年麦播基础较好,但在小麦拔节到开花期间,雨量过大(较常年多2—3倍),光照不足,锈病严重的情况下,全大队930亩小麦获得了单产436.6斤。1964年秋季正当小麦整地播种期间,又是一连六十多天的阴雨
