刘勰说:“夫缀文者情动而辞发,观文者披文以入情……”文学创作是作家情感释放的渠道,情感是文学创作的原动力。虹影一生经历的情感挫折内化为她文学创作的情感动因,笔者将她的情感演变过程划分为胚胎期、成长期、叛逆期以及将要出现的成熟期,而处于不同情感时期的虹影在作品中塑造了不同的男性形象,虹影借助这些男性形象审视内心对于男性情感的需求,审视自己对待男性的态度。
