虎林煤盆地位于黑龙江省东部赋煤带内,属于断陷型沉积盆地,基本构造特征为受敦-密深断裂带控制和影响,是在其后期发展形成的煤盆地,构造相对简单。虎林盆地主体为北东向展布,是以中、新生代沉积为主的沉积盆地,主要含煤地层为古近系虎林组和新近系富锦组。虎林盆地煤层多为复杂结构,煤层由薄煤层-厚煤层都有发育,在富煤中心形成的煤层较厚,向外侧扩展变薄至尖灭。
The Hulin coal basin is located in the coal belt in the eastern part of Heilongjiang Province and belongs to the fault-depression sedimentary basin. Its basic tectonic features are controlled and influenced by the London-Dense fault zone and formed in the later period as a coal basin with relatively simple structure. The main body of the Hulin basin is distributed in the north-east direction. It is a sedimentary basin dominated by Meso-Cenozoic sediments. The major coal-bearing strata are the Paleogene Hulin Group and the Neogene Fujin Formation. Most of the Hulin Basin coal seams are complex structures, and the coal seams are developed from thin coal seams to thick seams. The coal seams formed at the rich coal seams are thicker and flared to the outside.
