Tank breathing valve is mounted on top of the tank a device that is used to adjust the pressure inside the tank to reduce oil and gas losses. When pumping and storing petroleum products, the tank is breathing heavily and a flame arrester should be fitted to the breathing valve in order to prevent sparks from falling in.
