初级中学时期是帮助学生掌握英语的一个重要阶段,随着新课改的大力推进,怎样培养学生的英语学习主动性成为一个重要话题。但目前初中生学习的主动性,尤其是英语学习主动性仍显不足,大大削弱了英语学习的有效性。作者使用调查问卷的方法,对绵阳游仙区慈济实验学校100名初一学生的英语学习主动性进行调查,发现目前学生在英语学习上主动性较弱,而影响学生学习主动性的因素主要有兴趣、自信心、教学方法、学习资源以及对课堂的评估,因此为了提高学生英语学习主动性,教师和学生都应该从这些因素中入手,充分发挥积极因素的作用。本文分为四部分:第一部分,简要介绍中学新课改的背景以及要求;第二部分,阐述英语学习主动性的定义和特征,分析中学生英语学习现状;第三部分,根据调查问卷分析影响初中学生英语学习主动性的因素,最后一部分根据新课改的要求,作者向学生和老师提出了一些建议,以期提高初中学生英语学习主动性和学习效率。
Beginning of junior high school is to help students master English an important stage, with the new curriculum reform to promote, how to cultivate students’ English learning initiative has become an important topic. However, at present, the initiative of junior high school students learning, especially English learning, is still not enough, which greatly weakens the effectiveness of English learning. Using the method of questionnaire, the author investigated the initiative of 100 freshmen in Tzu Chi Experimental School in Youxian District of Mianyang City and found that at present students are less active in English learning and the main factors affecting the students’ learning initiative are mainly Interest, self-confidence, teaching methods, learning resources and assessment of the classroom. Therefore, in order to improve students’ English learning initiative, teachers and students should start from these factors and give full play to the positive factors. This paper is divided into four parts: The first part, briefly introduces the background and requirements of the new curriculum reform in high school; The second part, elaborates the definition and characteristics of English learning initiative, analyzes the current situation of middle school students English learning; The third part, In the last part, according to the requirements of the new curriculum reform, the author puts forward some suggestions to students and teachers in order to improve the English learning initiative and learning efficiency of junior middle school students.
