This paper discusses the method of calculating the diameter of each pipe segment of the pipeline network according to the principle of reliability, and determines the transmission capacity of the annular gas transmission and distribution system. Established the absolute reliability index—the limit gas consumption; demonstrated the guarantee coefficient of various users; gave the gas flow formula of the designed diameter; introduced the calculation method and steps for the conveying capacity of single-loop and multi-ring gas transmission and distribution systems. Taking the double loop pipe network as an example, a specific calculation was made.
