我们有责任去保护古老的文物,但没有义务去再造昔日的旧景。正如刘致平先生说过的,“仿制、因袭和复古都是倒退行为,不足以言之为创作。对过去的古老建筑必须批评地接受”。继承是为了变革而不是为了复古。过分追求原汁原味是没有现实意义的。
We have a responsibility to protect the ancient artifacts, but there is no obligation to rebuild the old scene of the past. As Mr. Liu Zhiping said, “Imitation, inheritance, and retro are all retrogressive actions, which are not enough for creation, and must be critically accepted for the ancient buildings of the past.” Inheritance is to change rather than to retro. Excessive pursuit of the original flavor is of no practical significance.
