犬牙交错出自《汉书·中山靖王传》,“诸传王自以骨肉至亲;先帝所以广封连城;犬牙相错者;为盘石宗也”。犬牙参差不齐,纵横交错。这是常识!但犬牙貌似杂乱,其实却深谙生存之道,其特性和效能超出我们的想象。犬牙是犬科动物最为重要的武器,扑杀猎物、防御搏斗都有赖于犬的牙齿。犬的咬合力能达到150KG左右,而人的咬合力只有40KG。犬在捕食大型猎物时,牙齿需要承受很大的压力,所以对牙齿的材质、排列、大小、稳固性等都提出了极高的要求,来满足其生存发展需要。
