广告学专业点的剧烈增长、广告传播产业全面开放、市场经济的不断深入发展、就业市场竞争对手多元化、广告产业的发展理念的变化等因素要求广告学专业必须打造核心竞争力。广告学专业的核心竞争力是一种准确定位、专业愿景、专属资源的整合而形成的组织化的能力,是一种广告学专业内部经过整合了“知识和技能”。华中农业大学广告学专业从专业定位、育人模式、专业愿景、队伍建设、整合专属资源、凝炼科研方向、探索学术交流等方面进行了打造专业核心竞争力的初步探索,并取得初步成效。
