Objective To study the prevalence of incisional infection without prophylactic antibacterials in general surgery class I surgical incision. Methods Collecting surgical patients who underwent surgical resection in Class I General Surgery from May 2012 to April 2015 in Dengfeng People’s Hospital from May 2012 to April 2015 were divided into two groups according to whether the prophylactic use of antibiotics was divided into two groups and antibacterials Group (n = 614) and no antimicrobial group (n = 956). Analysis of the incidence of postoperative incision infection between the two groups is no difference. Results The incidence of incisional infection (1.1%, 11/956) in the non-antibacterial group was not significantly different from that in the antibacterial group (1.4%, 9/614) (P = 0.375). Conclusion For Class I surgical incision, as long as the patient is generally good, perioperative infection without antibiotic incision does not increase.
