5月11日、12日,人民日报分别用1块整版和1.5块版的篇幅,刊发了8000多字的长篇通讯《重整山河织锦绣——献给重建家园中坚韧不拔的四川灾区人民》和1.5万字的长篇通讯《“胜利一定属于英雄的中国人民”——献给抗震救灾恢复重建一周年》。这两篇凝结了人民日报编委会多位领导心血、地方部及采访小分队辛勤劳动的重头稿件,与12日刊发的任仲平文章一起发力,在“5·12”这个关键节点形成舆论宣传强势,掀起人民日报纪念汶川特大地震一周年的报道高潮。
