桦川县依山傍水,地形平坦,土壤肥沃,资源丰富,镇内交通发达,是我省重要粮食产区,桦川县七一水库是一座以防洪为主,兼顾灌溉、养殖的综合利用小I型水库,水库投入运行近30年来,为当地防洪、灌溉及养殖等方面起到了积极作用,同时也存在些不容忽视的问题,亟待除险加固。
