阳原县马圈堡乡是我校农业技术综合开发乡,1990年该乡种植的25亩示范西瓜,获得了好收成。平均亩产4500公斤,单瓜重4.5公斤,最大瓜重9公斤。品质好,含糖量高,中心糖含量 P_2 11.3%,郑杂5号11.0%,红优2号10.5%,瓜形端正,口食性好,深受消费者好评,在栽培管理上采取了以下措施。
