《科学》杂志编辑部: 您们好! 贵刊38卷3期上所刊我与宋广礼所作“我国激光技术是怎样起飞的”一文,经邓锡铭同志回国后审阅,发现有一处与历史事实有出入,应作更正。原文中的“1963年,苏联的激光权威、诺贝尔奖金获得者巴索夫提出用大功率激光有可能引发核聚变反应。在这一思想启发下,邓锡铭在我国物理界老前辈王淦昌的倡导下勇敢地开拓了激光核聚变研究这个新领域。”应改为: “1965年春,邓锡铭收到物理界老前辈王淦昌寄来论述激光核聚变研究的最早的一个报告。在王淦昌的积极倡导下,开始了用高功率激光加热等离子体的尝试性实验,并把激光核聚变这一远期探索目标正
