The translation process involves understanding and expressing two important stages. Only by correctly understanding the original text can we express the original text correctly. Understanding the source language is inseparable from understanding the source text. The understanding of words and the definition of word meanings are the basis for understanding the original content and style. This article discusses the definition of word meanings.
