Abstract Objective To evaluate the correlation between the uptake of SPECT / CT bone tracer in knee cartilage injury and its size and severity in MRI. Materials and Methods 63 patients (mean age 49.2 ± 12.7 years) with data on both knee MRI and SPECT / CT were retrospectively and prospectively approved by the Ethics Committee. The grades of knee cartilage injury on MR images were graded using a modified Noyes classification (grade 0: cartilage integrity; grade 1: cartilage fibrosis; grade 2: cartilage loss <50%; grade 3: cartilage loss> 50%; 4 Grade: Grade 3 cartilage injury plus subchondral bone changes), and the extent of damage was measured.
