我国大约有570家左右的出版社,每个出版社都有自己特定的出版范围和出版优势,由于旅游业如火如荼的发展使得旅游书籍市场前景大好,每个出版社都看好这一巨大市场,并且旅游书籍市场门槛较低,景点加资讯就构成了一本旅游书籍,这样就省去很多费用。最被出版社看好的就是旅游书籍与其他专业书籍相比售价较高,热爱旅游的消费者与日俱增。市场好、成本低、售价高、消费人群多,这无疑给出版社创造了丰厚的收益。但是我们回顾目前的旅游书籍市场会发现,丰厚的收益背后存在着诸多问题。主要表现在两个方面:
