新疆的电视事业符别是维语电视的建立虽然才有十几年,但在党和国家的关怀下,逐年有新的发展,已成为新疆各民族观众离不开的精神食粮基地。不过,在人力、物力和财力有限的情况下,民族语言电视光靠自制节目,很难保证每天几个小时的播出,因而译播节目播出成为一个很重要的途径。现在新疆电视台维语第四频道播出的译播节目占总节目的90％以上,新疆电视台编译部有二十多个译制人员,平均每天大约译出20多万字的电视新闻和各种专题节目。厅内还有专门的电视剧译制部。

Now Xinjiang TV Uyghur Channel 4 broadcast broadcast programs accounted for more than 90% of the total program, Xinjiang TV Station Compilation Department has more than 20 translators, an average of about 200,000 words translated daily about TV news and various thematic programs . The hall also has a special TV drama translation department.
