From March 10 to March 12, 1935, the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau on the long march called a “new house” in Ping’an Township (now Gouba Village, Fengxiang Town, Zunyi County) in the 12th district of Zunyi County Tangwu held more than 20 people attended the meeting. Because of the special significance of the issues discussed and decided at this meeting, Mao Zedong especially remembered it deeply. After the Zunyi Meeting, the Central Red Army decided to go north to the Yangtze River. Troops moved to Tucheng nearby and were stopped by Sichuan Army.
