近年来分析核心期刊是我国医学图书情报界论文热点之一,取得不少成绩。本文着重讨论中小型医院图书馆核心刊鉴定的各种方法。 一、核心期刊必有特定的服务对象 核心期刊服务于一定的用户群体。大中小型医学图书馆任务不同,核心刊也各异。大型馆核心刊学科覆盖面宽,理论期刊比重大,刊种数量较多,连续收藏年代也较长。小型馆核心刊的学科覆盖面、理论刊比重和刊种数量、连续收藏年限都相应较少。一般而言,小馆核心刊往往应是大馆所必备。因此,大中小馆核心期刊中,必有一个共同的核心中的核心。它们是同一学科中质量较高、或质量相同而订价相对低廉者。 二、鉴定核心期刊必须具备基本医学文献知识如世界各大国的主要医学各分支学科学(协)会及其机关刊物,创刊年及其历史变化;医学期刊的几大重要类型,如理论研究、临床实用,综述杂志等等;常用期刊缩写;期刊论文引用参考文献的常用缩略语等等,都是必备知识。 三、引文分析法 统计论文所引参考文献,由此析出核心刊,是当前广泛应用的方法。此法比较客观可信。分析引文必须考虑下述事项:
