曼生壶是我国紫砂工艺史上独树一帜的奇特现象,厉经二百年沧桑变换,曼生壶流传至今,早已是凤毛麟角,屈指可数。曼生壶源于陈鸿寿(1768—1822),字子恭,号曼生,又号曼寿,浙江钱塘人。清代著名金石篆刻家、书画家。生于清乾隆三十三年,卒于道光二年,嘉庆六年(1801年)拔贡,后任溧阳县令。
