Using the two-particle model, the effect of the matrix effect of the trace element zirconium (Zr) on the grain cohesion of Ni3Al xatoms% Zr grain boundaries was studied. The model shows that the matrix concentration of zirconium (Zr) increases from 0.1 to 0.5, The enrichment in the grain boundary Zr is increased; Ni enrichment and Al depletion tend to be maximum at x = 0.3. The model also shows that the cohesion of the Ni3Al xatoms% Zr grain boundaries at x = 0.3 good.
