2001年度世界最高级别的公关年度大奖 Mercury Awards 银奖第一次颁给了中国本地的一家公关公司。MerComm 公司是设立在纽约的一家全球性传媒评估机构,对于全球的公关公司来说,Mercury Awards 的权威性和影响力 无异于影视界的奥斯卡奖。上海埃特公关虽然成立不过2年,却以己创意执行的。“夏士莲黑发迎奥运”活动一举夺标,也圆了中国公关人的一个梦。公司总经理金霞自然功不可没。当4A 广告公司刚刚在中国成立时,她为麦肯光明和 TBWA 工作过。以后她又在耐克公司担任了4年的市场经理,在那里她策划并执行了耐克在中国最成功的公关战役:“我梦想”;并因此与媒体和政府部门建立起了良好的合作关系。她服务过的客户包括联合利华、飞利浦、可口可乐、强生、吉列、白兰氏、妮维雅、佳能、通用电器和Johnny Walker 苏格兰威士忌等。不用说,这是个公关人中的“女强人”。不过女强人大概也可以分为两种。一种是被后天的环境所逼,不得已而走上了所谓“强人”之路,牺牲了青春、家庭,自己想想,这样的“强人”真是不做也罢;而另一些人则天生注定就要做一个不简单的女人,固然一样辛苦,自己却是忙得有滋有味,是又一道美丽的风景线。
