流火的七月,我走进解禁不久的中国第一个核武器研制基地、被誉为中国“原子城”的青海省海北藏族自治州海晏县西海镇。这是一片神秘的土地:我国第一颗原子弹,第一颗氢弹都是在这里横空出世的;这是一片美丽的土地:草原如黛、牧歌声声,青海湖畔最有名的草场金银滩就是这里;这更是一片优雅的土地:60多年前,人民音乐家王洛宾来这里采风,留下了传世之作《在那遥远的地方》……
In July, I walked into the first nuclear weapons research and development base in China, which is soon to be lifted.
