硫对钢质和钢材性能危害极大。钢包喷吹Ca-Si粉粒处理,可显著脱硫和变质硫化物夹杂,致使改善钢材性能。但是硫化物变质的不彻底,尚余约10%的MnS夹杂物。若在低硫钢中再加入少量稀土(0.020%左右),既可使MnS夹杂完全变质,又获得进一步改善钢材韧塑性和抗氢致开裂性能。钢包喷吹Ca-Si粉粒处理是稀土在钢中应用最经济合理的工艺。
Sulfur is extremely harmful to steel and steel properties. Ladle blowing Ca-Si powder handling, significant desulfurization and metamorphic sulfide inclusions, resulting in improved steel performance. However, sulfide deterioration is not complete, with about 10% MnS inclusions remaining. If a small amount of rare earth in the low-sulfur steel (0.020% or so), can make MnS inclusions completely metamorphic, but also to further improve the toughness of the steel and resistance to hydrogen cracking. Ladle blowing Ca-Si powder processing is the most economical and reasonable process for the application of rare earth in steel.
