中国特色社会主义政党制度在政党基本理念、解决政党关系、处理政党关系等方面都具有很大创造性。其基本特征是:共产党领导、多党派合作,共产党执政、多党派参政。其基本架构是:以坚持中国共产党领导为前提,以协商和监督为内容,以宪法和法律为活动准则,各民主党派不以谋取政权为目的。中国特色政党制度有利于减少政治成本,整合和消解派别政治,强化统一战线方针政策,有效组织国家政权,促进经济社会的发展,极大丰富了世界政党制度,创造了政党组织模式,开创了新型政党监督机制。
