I. Briefing of the Meeting The Conference on Beans of International Vegetable Beans in Developing Countries was held at the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) in Cali, Colombia from October 16 to October 20, 1989. The meeting is sponsored by CIAT. The participating countries include Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Angola, Egypt, Kenya, Ethiopia, China, India, Iran, the Netherlands, Spain, Turkey, etc.
